CEA

Website Proposal

The
Brief

CEA is an agency specialising in brand partnerships, sponsorship, talent management and entertainment. The need? A new website that communicates CEA's vision, value and successes. Best practices in usability, performance and SEO are a must. The result? A beautiful website that educates on its services, builds trust with its audience and positions CEA as an industry leader.

The
‍Goals

A website strategy with a purpose

Just as all businesses need a plan, websites need a strategy. CEA's vision, value offerings and target audience(s) will drive discussion around the development of a broader website strategy. The conversation needs to be around what drives CEA, how your processes, cultural values and standards align to deliver results, and what those results are.

Be a leader, not a follower — set the new standard

Rigorous market research is critical to determine what your competitors are doing — and what they aren't doing. These findings will be used to position CEA as an agency that favours innovative thinking over standard practices.

Key messaging that people remember

Build trust and credibility through confident and considered key messaging that resonates with your audience. Understand what they need to hear while telling your story. Brands will see through hyperbole — keep things authentic and self-assured; and present CEA as a place for shared values to collide.

High-performing functionality

Performance matters. CEA's site must look great and function even better. Maximising key metrics (load speed, security, cross-device responsiveness, semantic HTML structure and SEO metadata) is vital for SEO and usability. The back-end will be built with CEA's business goals in mind, allowing for agile content management, scalability and flexibility.

Show your value through design

Credibility begins with aesthetics. Mood boarding and conceptual wireframing are crucial to building a design system that is on-brand and aligned with the value that CEA offers its audience. The design and usability of your site should work with your content — make your message about more than words.

Drive validation & company growth

All content must work in synergy, with every individual element playing a role in the broader website strategy. That strategy serves one purpose: driving growth through awareness, validation and lead generation. Make your content compelling and hero your successes.

Project
Scope

About

Take users on a journey through the Grainshaker process, from sourcing the grain, to distilling, bottling and enjoying. Communicate the craft from start-to-finish and tell your story through tactility and animation. An example of great storytelling through usability is apple — high impact simplicity view here

Shop

Feature the 3 products: big, bold and immersive usability as there is more a need for brand storytelling than there is for traditional product-based functionality (low number of SKUs). Lean on the product identifiers and communicate them in an interactive way. Each product to link through to a specific product page.

Products (3)

Product pages that provide key information, further storytelling and backlinks to other pages across the site.

• Image(s)
• Product information
• Clear call-to-action
• Combination recommendations (mixers / other spirits / garnishes)
• Other products

Stockists & Venues

Simple, easy-to-use venue & stockist locator. Could look to break the user flow into where to drink / where to buy — this depends on whether you are looking to include retail & hospitality vendors. The usability of this section really hinges on the number of results.

• Postcode search
• Results via Google Map API with vendor information: image / logo, address, operating hours (provide enough information so that users don’t need to leave the site)
• Featured venues

News & Insights

Your main source of dynamic content outside of the craft section. These articles would be community and company orientated.

• Our impact: corporate responsibility, sustainability, philanthropic initiatives
• Our friends: partnerships, local venues, industry leaders
• Events: branded events, industry events
• Offers: competitions, activations, product offers
• Drink & cocktail recipes

This page would be linked to across the site via CTAs: buttons, banners

• Value offering (similar to Tito’s)
• Form with required data: name, email, D.O.B, state This page would be linked to across the site via CTAs: buttons, banners
